Founded in 2024 by Maggie Kervin, Alabama Children’s Theatre is dedicated to inspiring young performers and bringing unforgettable stories to life. Currently located at the Pine Level Community Center, our theatre has proudly presented productions such as Mary Poppins Jr., Peter Pan, Fractured Fairy Tales, Rudolph Jr., and Annie Jr.

We believe in fostering creativity, confidence, and a love of the arts in every child who steps onto our stage. Beyond our productions, we are committed to providing unique educational opportunities that help our actors grow both on and off the stage. This year, our students participated in the America 250 celebration, where they portrayed historical figures in a live wax museum experience. Dressed in costume and sharing facts about their characters, our actors interacted with and educated more than 1,000 students from across the area. Experiences like these allow our performers to develop public speaking skills, historical knowledge, and confidence while bringing learning to life in an engaging and memorable way.
